Miss Paula Flynn

A native of Forkhill, Co. Armagh, Paula grew up listening to the country, folk and bluegrass records that she found at home. Aged 14 she release her first record – back then they were called cassettes. In the intervening years that voice has been put to good use accompanying anit-folk anti-hero Jinx Lennon in gigs at home and abroad as well as in the studio.

In 2007, while still studying Radio production at Dublin City University she recorded a version of David Bowie’s ‘Let’s Dance’ released as a single through EMI and topping the Irish charts. She went onto make music and radio content.

She has one album to date and is working on new music as well as studying to be a psychotherapist and has recently put all her talents together (music, audio production and psychology) and is about to launch a new podcast called ‘Hold on with Miss Paula Flynn in Association with Minding Creative Minds’.
